North Delhi Strikers (NDS) will face Outer Delhi Warriors (ODW) in the ninth match of the Delhi Premier League 2025 on Wednesday, August 6, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Strikers are in the second-last position and lost their first game of the season. The Warriors have won and lost one game each and are in third place.

The Strikers took on Central Delhi Kings in their first game of the season. They made 174 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. Sarthak Ranjan (82 off 60) and Arnav Bugga (67 off 43) were the top scorers for the Strikers. No other batter managed to score a double-digit score for the team. In reply, the Kings reached the target of 175 runs in 17.3 overs with eight wickets in hand. Kuldip Yadav was the pick of the bowlers for the Strikers and took two wickets.

The Warriors faced Purani Dilli 6 in their previous outing and elected to bat after winning the toss. They were bundled out for 148 runs in 20 overs. Sanat Sangwan and Siddhant Sharma scored 20-plus runs for the team. The bowlers, particularly Suyash Sharma and Shaurya Malik, displayed excellent performance. Suyash took four wickets for 17 runs in four overs, while Malik picked three wickets for 10 runs in three overs. The Purani Dilli 6 could score only 66 runs before getting all out. The Warriors won the match by 82 runs.
