Preview

New Zealand (NZ) will be hosting England (ENG) in the second Test match at Basin Reserve in Wellington starting on February 24. England won the first Test to take 0-1 lead in the two-match away Test series. They managed to post 300-plus totals with a run rate of over five in both innings and the bowlers also shone with some remarkable displays.

Harry Brook won the Player of the Match award for scoring 89 and 54 in two innings in the first match. James Anderson took the seven wickets across two innings while Stuart Broad and Ollie Robinson also contributed to England's big 267-run win. For New Zealand, Tom Blundell top-scored with 138 runs in the first innings and Daryl Mitchell added a fifty in the second innings. England have won four of their last five Test matches against New Zealand and are favorites to win the second Test as well.
