In the Qualifier match of the PSL 2026, Peshawar Zalmi (PES) will take on Islamabad United (ISL). Batting first, they posted a solid total of 199 runs, but Lahore successfully chased it down in the final over. Michael Bracewell was the standout performer with the bat, scoring an impressive 83 off just 45 deliveries, while Babar Azam also contributed with 59. In the bowling department, Ali Raza, Khurram Shahzad, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Sufiyan Muqeem picked up one wicket each.

On the other hand, Islamabad United have also had an impressive season, winning six of their 10 group-stage matches to finish second on the points table. Their back-to-back wins in the last two matches highlight their strong momentum, which they will look to carry into this encounter.

Islamabad United secured a four-wicket victory over Multan Sultans in their previous game. Batting first, Multan posted a competitive total of 192 runs, but Islamabad chased it down comfortably in 18.4 overs. Mark Chapman starred with a superb knock of 69 runs off 33 balls, while Shadab Khan made a valuable contribution of 36 runs. With the ball, all of Islamabad’s bowlers played their part well, with each of them claiming at least one wicket.
