In the 39th T20 match of the WBBL 2025, Perth Scorchers Women (PS W) are set to face Brisbane Heat Women (BH W). Perth Scorchers Women have had a decent season, winning five of the nine matches played so far, while losing four. In the last match, they won against the  Melbourne Renegades Women by 30 runs. Sophie Devine performed brilliantly with the bat and ball in the previous game. She scored 40 runs in 28 balls and also took 4 wickets. Freya Kemp and Maddy Darke also played well.

On the other hand, the Brisbane Heat Women are still waiting for their first win this season. As they haven't got a single win in 9 matches. They also lost the last game by 23 runs against the Sydney Thunder Women. However, Sarah Glenn performed well and took four wickets, but was unable to win the match for their team.
