It feels really good. It was my first century in the IPL, and to achieve it in just my third innings is special. The hard work I've put in over the last three to four months is paying off. I don't focus much on the field; I just concentrate on the ball. Batting with him boosts my confidence because he maintains a positive attitude and offers valuable advice, making it easier to bat alongside him. Scoring a century in the IPL feels like a dream come true. No, I don't feel any fear. [On whether bowlers will target him] I'm not thinking about that; I'm just focusing on playing.

Riyan Parag:

It was incredible. We spent two months with him and have seen what he can do. To do it against world-class bowlers like GT, words can't express it. We made a change from the last game — how we can finish things a little earlier, bat with real intent. We practised a lot and executed it today, and it came off. You can learn something every day by watching the IPL — how RCB go about their game, how Surya bhai does his stuff. This was a big one; we were searching for this win. The fact that it came one-sided makes me very happy. We'll see what kind of wicket we get in the next game and then plan accordingly.

Yashasvi Jaiswal:

Incredible innings, one of the best I've seen. Hopefully, he'll continue doing it for us for a long time. I was just telling him to keep going. He was simply outstanding today, playing some amazing shots. He works really hard in the nets — we all can see that. He has the game, the temperament, and the right mentality. Wishing him all the luck ahead. We were also talking about the importance of someone staying till the end and finishing the game. In the last few matches, we couldn't finish it, but today we tried our best. I believe whoever is batting should take the responsibility. Luckily, I was there today and did my best. Our coach keeps telling us to take it one game at a time. We'll continue giving our 100% in every match. In the end, it’s a beautiful day and a beautiful game of cricket — we must enjoy it.

Shubman Gill:

They took the game away from us during the powerplay, and credit to them for that. There were a few things we could have done better, but it's always easier to point them out afterward. We had some chances early on but couldn’t grab them, and in hindsight, there are definitely areas where we need to improve as a group. (On sitting out during the second innings) I felt a slight spasm in my back, and with another game coming up in a couple of days, the physio didn’t want to risk it. No matter what happened in the previous match — win or lose — we treat every game as a fresh one. Our next match is in Ahmedabad, where we've had a good record, so hopefully, we’ll continue that. (On Vaibhav Suryavanshi) It was his day. His hitting was tremendous, and he made the most of it.
