The English team was never going to be able to chase this total, but it seemed as if they did not even try. They were bowled out for just 170, losing the game by a whopping 229 runs.

Bangladesh squared off against India in their last match, where Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat. They were off to a flier after choosing to bat, where both their openers scored a half-century each. Several wickets fell at regular intervals after openers fell. The pair of Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah took the team to a decent total of 256 runs. After another bossy start from Rohit and Gill, Kohli took the baton over as he notched yet another century and took the team to an easy win by seven wickets.
