Preview
South Africa (SA) will be facing West Indies (WI) in the second ODI at East London's Buffalo Park on March 18. The first match was washed away due to rain without a ball bowled, so this will be a very crucial game for both teams in this three-match ODI series. South Africa won both Test matches against West Indies and are favourites to seal the ODIs as well. Wayne Parnell and Tabraiz Shamsi have replaced the injured duo of Wiaan Mulder and Keshav Maharaj.
West Indies will be playing their first ODIs since Shai Hope's appointment as full-time ODI skipper. Roston Chase is returning to the ODI setup after a long gap, while the veteran pacer Shannon Gabriel will be playing his first ODI since July 2019. West Indies have won two of their last five ODIs against South Africa, but considering their white-ball form, they will likely struggle against the Proteas on Saturday.
