Tuskers XI had played against Tigers XI in their last match, where Tuskers XI won the toss and elected to bat. They lost their first wicket on a duck but did not look back from that point of time. A century partnership for the second wicket and a strong finish towards the end took the team to a huge total of 194 runs. The Tigers started off their innings a little slow, but the problem began for them when they started losing wickets regularly as well. Ravi Yadav was the only batter with a good score at a good strike rate. The team could only make 143 runs by the end of the innings, so Tuskers were the winners of the match by 48 runs.

Sharks XI had squared off against Bulls XI in their last match, where Sharks XI won the toss and elected to bat. They started a little slow and lost a wicket early but had a good second-wicket partnership to bring them back into the game. Siddarth Naidu was the star performer with the bat, scoring 72 runs off 55 balls and pushing the team to a total of 151 runs. The Bulls had a horrible start losing four wickets just within the batting powerplay. Although they did score some runs after that, they were never able to overcome the early loss, and the Sharks won the match by 29 runs.
