The Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2026 has reached its playoffs stage, with the IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans (ITT) set to face the Vida Kovai Kings (VKK) in the Eliminator at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Monday, August 24.

The IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans began their campaign with a defeat but bounced back strongly, stringing together a series of wins to finish fourth on the points table. In their league-stage meeting with the Kovai Kings, the Tamizhans registered a convincing four-wicket victory with 12 balls to spare. They will be hoping to produce another similar performance in the Eliminator.

The Vida Kovai Kings, meanwhile, finished third in the league stage after ending their campaign with a hat-trick of wins to secure their place in the playoffs. They will look to carry that momentum into Monday’s clash and secure a crucial victory, which would take them into the second Qualifier and put them one step closer to the final.
