Preview
Zimbabwe will face the Netherlands in the first ODI of the three-match series on Tuesday (March 21) at the Harare Sports Club. The series is a part of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Super League. But both the teams are already out of the race to directly qualify for the World Cup in India later this year. The tournament will see 13 teams competing against each other, with the top eight teams from the Cricket World Cup League points table getting a direct qualification. The other five teams will have to go through a qualifier tournament slated to start on June 18.
Zimbabwe have named a strong squad for this series. The likes of Sikandar Raza and Ryan Burl, who missed the last few games, are back in the squad. Along with these two, Sean Williams, Tendai Chatara and Blessing Muzarabani are also a part of the squad. The trio suffered injuries in the past and missed the home Test series against West Indies in February.
