‘Mera wicket sirf bowler le sakta hai’ – Ruturaj Gaikwad on his relationship speculations with actress Sayali Sanjeev

Ruturaj Gaikwad, the young Indian batter, has opened up on his relationship rumours with Sayali Sanjeev, a popular Marathi actress. The speculations came to the fore after their interaction on the social media platform. Earlier, Sayali shared some of her pictures on Instagram.
Thereafter, Gaikwad reacted to the actresses’ post and wrote, ‘Woahh.’ The actress responded to the cricketer’s comment with some heart emojis. Their short conversation was enough for the netizens to make all sorts of speculations regarding their relationship.
Gaikwad, reacting to the rumours, said that only bowlers can take his wicket and not anyone else. His post was in Marathi, which translated to “Only bowlers can take my wicket, that too clean bowled. Not anyone else. And whoever wanted to understand, have understood.”
Sayali is a popular actress and has featured in a lot of Marathi TV soaps. She is known for the Zee Marathi Serial ‘Kahe Diya Pardes’ where she is doing a lead role of ‘Gauri’. Sayali is born in Dhule District in Maharashtra and has completed her school from Dhule and college from Nasik by doing an arts degree.
In 2016, she got the Best Actress Award of Zee Marathi. She is the daughter of Tahsildar of Nashik district Sanjeev Chandsarkar. The young actress has also model-led for Quikr, Birla Eyecare and Do it brands.
Ruturaj Gaikwad’s impressive outing in IPL 2021
Gaikwad made his debut for the Chennai Super Kings in the year 2020. Though he failed in the first few matches, he was able to make amends with quite a few half-centuries in the second half of the event. In the 2021 edition, the right-hander made a similar start, but he came back with a bang.
In seven matches, Gaikwad managed 196 runs at an average and strike rate of 28 and 128.94 respectively. His top score of 75 came against the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. On the back of his knock, the Super Kings won the match in a comfortable manner.
He also scored 64 against the Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Over the last couple of years, Ruturaj has performed consistently for India A as well.
