Mohammad Amir and his wife Narjis blessed with a baby girl 'Zoya'

Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir and his wife Narjis have become parents for the second time. The couple was blessed with a baby girl on July 16 (Thursday). Amir tied the knot with the British born Pakistani girl Narjis in 2016 and both are proud parents of an adorable daughter Minsa Amir who was born in 2017.

Having made his international debut for Pakistan at the age of 17, Mohammad Amir has played a vital role for the Pakistan cricket team. He has represented Pakistan in 36 Test matches, 61 ODI matches, and 48 T20 Internationals taking 119, 81, and 59 scalps respectively.

The journey in the world of cricket hasn’t been smooth for the pacer as he had to face a ban of five years for his involvement in spot-fixing. But since his comeback to international cricket in 2016, he has played some crucial roles for his home country.

The Pakistani cricketer shared the news of him becoming a father for the second time on his Twitter handle. Announcing the news of social media, he also revealed that they have named their newborn daughter as Zoya Amir. Amir wrote on the micro-blogging site, “Alhumdulillah finally ALLAH ki rehmat Zoya Amir,”

Amir and Narjis were waiting for the birth of their second child for quite some time now. The 28-year-old missed the Pakistan tour of England to be with his wife at the time of birth. The Pakistani cricket team is expected to play a three-match Test and T20I series against England while staying in a biosecure bubble. The Test series is scheduled from August 5 to August 25 while the T20Is would be played on August 28, August 30, and September 1.
