Movie Star Mahesh Babu wishes Sachin Tendulkar on his birthday

Sachin Tendulkar has been a motivational figure for several budding cricketers. He is currently a holder of a plethora of records, which are highly unlikely to be broken at least in the near future. The Master Blaster was among the most feared batsmen and at his prime, he used to take the best of bowling attacks to the cleaners with a stamp of authority.

The Master Blaster was among the very few cricketers in the world who conjured roars from across the globe. He made his debut alongside the likes of Waqar Younis and telecasted his go-getter attitude, which was applauded by one and all. The Mumbai-batsman never looked back ever since and grew in stature as his career passed the Test of times.

His career spanned a staggering 24 years and he eventually hanged his boots from international cricket in November 2013. However, even after four years since his retirement, his popularity hasn’t died down one bit and people cheer for him with the same intensity. The cricketer currently celebrated his 45th birthday and was showered with admiration from across the globe.

From commoners to celebrities, several people have hailed him as their inspiration. Recently, a fan page of Mahesh Babu, the South Star, posted a video on Instagram where he is asked about his favourite cricketer to which he replied with the name of Sachin Tendulkar. This isn’t the first instance when the actor admired the former Indian cricketer.

Last year, Sachin A Billion Dreams, a biopic on Tendulkar, was released and Mahesh Babu took to Twitter and dropped a heartfelt message for him which read

“Legend, Superhero, Master Blaster Many names.. 1 man.. #SachinABillionDreams Can’t wait to see his story unfold. All the best @sachin_rt 🙂 (sic).”

Sachin was quick to spot the message and he reverted the star with an even more delightful message.

“Humbled and deeply grateful. Thanks, @ urstrulyMahesh !!,”
