MS Dhoni’s penchant for riding bikes is an open secret. He also used to ride the two-wheeler on a cricket grounds in order to celebrate victories. He has a variety of motorbikes and his exclusive collection of the trendy models is good enough for people to envy him. Even in the move MS Dhoni- the Untold Story, which released in September 2016, Dhoni was seen with his favourite vehicle and repairing them expertly.

John Abraham is also fond of bikes and has been seen driving the same in several movies. Having similar interests, both he and Dhoni share a strong bond and have had several memorable moments together. John, whose movie Parmanu hit the silver screens today, narrated a funny incident of him along with the former Indian skipper.

“He’s really athletic”- John on MSD

“We once went to my office to get the bikes out and found that the watchman had fallen asleep and the main gate was locked. So, we both jumped from the side and went in,” John was quoted as saying as per reports in India Today.

“But while coming out, we had to go over the gate. I don’t know how he did it, but in a few jumps, he made it over the gate easily. I thought if Mahi can do it then so can I, so I ran and did the exact same thing. My pants got stuck in the gate and tore,” he added while reminiscing the occurring.

“Honestly, he’s really athletic. I follow cricket as and when I have the time. Besides that (MS) Dhoni is one of my closest friends, so even if I wanted to I wouldn’t be able to stay away from cricket,” the 45-year old Bollywood Star mentioned.

John’s comments about Dhoni’s fitness can’t be dismissed. At the age of 36 years, when many people tend to strain with their career, Dhoni has been phenomenal in terms of keeping himself in shape. He runs between the wickets like a hare. The veteran is currently playing for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) where his team has already qualified for the Final on May 27 in Mumbai.
