While the Indian fans are receiving quite a shocking news these days, be it on the rift between coach Anil Kumble and captain Virat Kohli, or the team’s dissatisfaction with the training facilities in Birmingham, there is something that will plaster a smile on their faces. A video of India’s favourite captain and finisher MS Dhoni rolled his arms prior to the electrifying clash on June 4 has been uploaded by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI)

Despite not being among the run-getters in of late especially the recently concluded Indian Premier League, Dhoni’s presence in the team remains the most important part of the Indian team’s title defence campaign. Dhoni, who led Team India to victory in the previous edition of the Champions Trophy in 2013, will once again be crucial role behind the wickets and hopefully as a finisher as well.

With India set to take on arch-rival Pakistan in their tournament opener on June 4, Dhoni spent time in the nets, but for a change, the wicketkeeper-batsman was seen paying attention to his bowling rather than his batting. Dhoni was seen grooming his bowling, maybe we can expect the former skipper to bowl his seam-ups in the upcoming games?

In the latest video shared by the official Twitter handle of the BCCI, Dhoni is seen throwing the ball with the help of the speed arm ball thrower. Standing at the non-striker’s end was Virat Kohli as Dhoni was trying his hand at bowling.

Coming into the tournament Team India won both their warm-up games against New Zealand and Bangladesh respectively. After a massive victory by 240 runs over Bangladesh, the team will have the momentum on their side and hope to make it 2-2 with Pakistan.
