Indian spiritual leader Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, popularly known as MSG, recently made bizarre statements in a media interaction. He has been mocked and ridiculed for various reasons in the past but his most recent statement is bound to make the people laugh a little harder.

During a promotional event for his upcoming gig, MSG went on to quote that he has taught cricket to the Indian captain Virat Kohli. Now, this is certainly a little too much to digest. He had earlier released a series of movies based on his life where he portrayed himself as the superhero of the common people. The hagiography, as it could be ideally described as, was not very well accepted by the masses.

Despite that, the spiritual leader maintained that his movie was a super hit. All his songs, his theories, and his movies have somehow been digested by the common people. But the fact that he has mentored many sportspersons is hard to believe. However, the kind of confidence he showed whilst making such remarks is something that is worth a mention.

News18 updated the video clip of the media interaction on their social media handle. He started off by saying that he knows every little detail about the sports and has played many national games. “I know A to Z of sports. I have played 32 national games,” remarked MSG. “I have coached many players who have brought medals for India,” he added further.

Favorite among the cricketers?

Adding a little impetus to his claims, he cited that he has a video footage with him wherein he is teaching the Indian captain Virat Kohli. “I have a video of myself coaching Virat Kohli,” claimed the spiritual leader. When asked why the cricketers never take his name in their thanks giving speeches, MSG replied back quoting, “Let them not take. Many players visit me.”
