Preview for Dream11 Fantasy
The second match of the MSL 2019 will see Durban Heat and Tshwane Spartans locking horns at Kingsmead. This encounter will also mark AB de Villiers‘ comeback on the field after last featuring in the T20 Blast earlier this year. The former South Africa international is crucial to his team’s fortunes and without captaincy pressure, he will be the most dangerous player.
Heinrich Klaasen is set to lead the Spartans this season while Dane Vilas, who led the Jozi Stars to the title in the inaugural edition, will lead the Durban Heat. Both the teams have a few exceptional cricketers and it is expected to be a great contest. The Spartans though will miss Tom Curran who is currently in New Zealand and is expected to join soon after the T20I series.
Durban will experience a lot of rain in the lead up to the game and it will continue to stay cloudy even during the match timings. The delayed start is expected for this match while there is a around 10% chance of precipitation according to AccuWeather during the action in the middle. The temperature is expected to hover around 20 Degrees Celsius.
The venue witnessed only two completed matches out of five in the last season with the other two being the reduced affairs. One game was washed out. And the rain is set to interrupt again on Saturday. As far as the pitch is concerned, it offers some help to both pacers and spinners. With the rain around, the team winning the toss is expected to field first.
Average first innings score: 148 (14 T20Is at the venue)
Record of the chasing teams: Won – 6; Lost -6; NR – 2
Tom Curran is unavailable for Tshwane Spartans as he is in New Zealand at the moment playing for England.
