Narendra Modi appreciates the good wishes from Sachin Tendulkar

It was a landslide victory for Narendra Modi-led BJP government and their allies in the general elections of 2019. Narendra Modi became the first non-Congress Prime Minister who got elected for a second term with a full majority. His party, the BJP, alone won about 303 seats out of the 543 and have got the capability to form a stable government all by themselves. No other Prime Minister has managed to dominate the elections so much in the last three decades.

Thus, it was quite an achievement for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and they are all set for a second consecutive term. Moreover, they’ve even managed to improve their figures significantly when compared to the 2014 elections. Given the magnitude of this victory, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was flooded with wishes all over the social media. Right from world leaders, to sportspersons and fans, all congratulated the 68-year-old for this massive win.

Going by the early trends on the counting day, India’s legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar took it to Twitter to congratulate Modi. “My heartiest congratulations to @narendramodi Ji & @BJP4India for winning the #. The nation is with you in building a brighter and stronger New India,” he wrote on the microblogging site.

A lot of work still to be done for the nation’s transformation

Narendra Modi is one of the most active politicians on social media and the most followed global leader. He thanked his supported after the victory and has been busy replying to the eminent personalities who wished him. NaMo took the opportunity to thank Sachin Tendulkar as well for his congratulatory message. He wrote that he appreciates the good wishes.

The Prime Minister further wrote in his message that a lot of work was done in the last five years. But, he is in no mood to sit back and relax after this win. Modi thinks that much more has to be done in the next five years for the nation’s transformation. He added that his government will serve the nation with utmost diligence.
