Time and again, Chennai Super Kings – CSK have proved that they are one of the best even on Twitter. The franchise has always left the fans in splits with its remarkable witty tweets. And the Super Kings have proved it once again that they are by far the best among the IPL teams on Twitter also. The Super Kings responded brilliantly to a user who tried to have some fun at the expense of the Chennai-based outfit.

The user named Daniel Williams took to Twitter to post a cheeky tweet, stating that while he loves Mumbai Indians, he has a crush on Chennai Super Kings. The rivalry between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings is one of the biggest in the Indian Premier League. Both teams have constantly fought for supremacy in the league for the last decade or so.

And perhaps the fan wanted to make the most of the rivalry between the two teams. The fan must have thought that his tweet would not garner much attention although he tried his best to rile up the Chennai Super Kings by writing, “Sorry @ChennaiIPL, I Love @mipaltan! But I have Crush on you….”

Well, Chennai Super Kings did not take long to reply to the user’s tweet with a hilarious response. Posting a picture of film superstar Rajnikanth, Super Kings wrote, “Never crush your love. But always love your crush.’- Nagesh, the mahaan who lived in 1765.”

Mumbai Indians and Super Kings continue their dominance

Mumbai Indians and Super Kings, nonetheless, continue to be the most successful teams in the history of the league. Both the teams locked horns in this year’s IPL final where Mumbai Indians edged out Super Kings in a thriller to win their fourth IPL title. The Mumbai-based outfit became the first team to win the IPL four times.

Super Kings, on the other hand, have three titles to their name. After returning to the league in 2018 following the two-year suspension, the Super Kings hit the ground running and won the league that year. Both the teams are showing no signs of slowing down and will be contenders for the title next season too.
