Mohammed Shami, the Indian fast bowler is in the form of his life. His on-field performances have received lots of applauds from the fans and cricketing fraternity. He always shares his success with the fans on social media. And, on Saturday, he welcomed a new baby girl in his family and he also shared her first glimpse with his fans.

The right-handed fast bowler is rated as one of the best bowlers across the globe. Shami’s toe-crushing yorkers and brutal bouncers have the potential to give a fierce experience to any batsman during the games. Currently, he is with Team India on his tour to New Zealand.

Shami didn’t get off to a good start to his tour as he went wicketless in the T20I series opener and ended up with dismal bowling figures of 53/0. The next game also didn’t go down well for Shami as yet again failed to scalp his first wicket against Black Caps.

In the third game against New Zealand, Shami finally came out with a stellar performance with the ball. He took two wickets giving 32 runs against Kiwis. Team India won that game and all credits should be awarded to Shami, who defended 9 runs against Black Caps in the last over that took the game into the tie-breaking Super Over.

In the end, Rohit Sharma smacked two back to back sixes that helped his side in taking the unassailable lead in the five-match series. Later on, he was rested by the team management and Navdeep Saini was given a run in the next two games.

On Monday, Shami took to his Twitter handle and shared a still of a new baby girl that was given birth by his brother’s wife. He congratulated his brother in a pleasant way. Shami also gave a heartwarming caption to his post that read, “One more baby girl in my family. Congratulations on the birth of your cute princess, May she grow up with love and gracious heart. Welcome to the world little one. Congratulations for brother family.”

At the moment, he is gearing up for the ODI series with Team India that is scheduled to begin from 5th of February at Seddon Park in Hamilton.
