A couple of days ago the Pakistan team topped the Test ranking after the 4th Test match between West Indies and India ended in a draw after most of the five days were washed off by rain and wet outfield. Pakistan also had a good outing in the Test series against England as they squared the series 2-2.

Team India was crowned the no. 1 Test team after they won the series and Sri Lanka beat Australia 3-0 but to retain the position they needed to win the 4th Test match at Port of Spain. However, the match ended with just 22 overs being bowled. This cost India the no.1 spot and Pakistan climbed to the top of the table for the first time in the history (officially).

The twist in fates gave some of the Pakistan fans an opportunity to Photoshop images of Pakistan Test skipper Misbah-ul-Haq and Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli to depict how they took over.

In the exciting series, Pakistan won the first Test match at the Lord’s, where we saw the push-up celebration from the team and the skipper Misbah-ul-Haq.

England bounced back in the next two Test matches at Old Trafford and Birmingham to lead the series 2-1. They played some really good cricket in the 4th and final Test match at the Oval to draw the series 2-2, which saw a brilliant double-century from the veteran batsman Younis Khan.

On the other hand, the West Indies-India series had been a one-sided affair with the visitors completely dominating the inexperienced Windies side. Though they have slipped down to no.2 for now, the Indian team is still in the hunt as they will play as many as 9 Tests in the coming few months and all of them at home.
