PSL Winners List

The eighth edition of the all-exciting Pakistan Super League (PSL) is all set to kickstart on February 13 with defending champions Lahore Qalandars locking horns with Multan Sultans in repeat of last season's final. As many as 11 matches are to be played in Rawalpindi, while Karachi and Karachi will host nine fixtures and Multan will host the remaining five fixtures. The season will be a treat for the fans as they will be on the edge of their seats to keep track of the PSL Cricket News to follow their favourite franchises and stay updated with the happenings. 

Over the seven editions played so far, Islamabad United is the only side to have won the top-tier league twice followed by Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators, Karachi Kings, and Multan Sultans winning it once in the previous editions.  

Going by the PSL Schedule, a total of 34 matches will be played in the month-long event in 2023 in a double round-robin format followed by the playoffs. This essentially means that the six participants will play the rival team twice in the group stage and then progress to the elimination rounds. The play-offs format is similar to that played in the Indian Premier League (IPL) which is- the Qualifier 1, Eliminator followed by the Eliminator 2 and the finals.  

The top four teams in the PSL Point Table will earn spots in the playoffs and contest for the coveted title. The summit clash of the event will be played on 19 March with the Winner of Qualifier and Winner of Eliminator 2 locking horns at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
