Pakistan continues to prove itself as the land of fast bowlers as the 18-year-old Shaoor Ahmed is impressing everyone in the domestic cricket. The youngster is tall and seems to be troubling the opposition batsmen with his pace and swing. This is neither the first time nor the last time when the country has unearthed a young fast bowler and has to be taken care of by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Also, for a change, Shaoor is a right arm pace bowler, unlike many left-arm bowlers who are gaining success for Pakistan off late.

Hasan Ali is the only right-arm fast bowler in the country currently who has hogged the limelight. The likes of Mohammad Amir, Rumman Raees, Usman Khan Shinwari among many others are playing International cricket and have been immensely successful. Amir, since his comeback, has been sensational and Usman recently took a stupendous five-wicket haul against Sri Lanka which was rated as one of the best opening spells in ODIs.

The video of Shaoor Ahmed bowling in the domestic cricket and keeping the batsman on his toes is going viral on social media. He belongs from Faisalabad and plays for the U19 team of the State. He has risen through the ranks by playing in the U16 category as well and has the potential to be successful at the highest level. He recently featured for his State in the Inter-Region U19 tournament in which three-day matches are played.

Injury concerns for fast bowlers

Despite known to be a factory of the fast bowlers, Pakistan has failed to manage the workloads of the bowlers. The injury list increases after every match and the board need to take required steps to avoid such injuries. Recently, the new upcoming star Usman Khan was injured and ruled out of the action for more than 6 weeks just after starring against Sri Lanka. Also, Amir and Raees could not play most of the series across formats due to injuries they sustained.

The country is very lucky to have such bowlers and the board soon needs to have a look at them before losing such a rare talent quickly.
