Pakistan Women’s team, captained by Sana Mir is going through a horrendous patch. They did not win a single game in the recently concluded Women’s World Cup. They did not seem focused and couldn’t put up a collective effort thus failed to make a mark again any opposition in the tournament. All the teams absolutely battered Pakistan in the World Cup.

Their form has been exactly opposite to their men’s team. Their men surprised everyone with a shocking win over India in the finals of Champions Trophy. However, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Pakistan sent in a rather young team to the ICC event and that did not fare well. Now those youngsters have gained valuable experience which will help them shape their career.

After the forgettable World Cup in England, Pakistan women are set to host New Zealand Women. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recently announced the schedule. Even after hosting three T20I games against World XI in Pakistan these international games will be held in the United Arab Emirates. The series is to be played in Sharjah and all the matches will be played at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

The schedule

New Zealand Women’s team will play their first game against the host on 31st October. There are a total of three One-Day International games and four T20 International matches to be played. All the games will be hosted by the same venue.
