The relationship between Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma has seen several twists and turns with the passage of time. From the rumours of breaking up after the 2015 World Cup debacle to the talks of tying the knot in December, their relationship has been pretty eventful.

Recently, the Indian skipper requested the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to give him a break in the upcoming month of December, citing personal reasons. The media presumed it as a reason for Kohli to get married. However, Anushka Sharma, in a recent interview, made it clear that the lovebirds won’t get hitched, much to the disappointment of the fans.

Lately, Anushka and Virat were seen visiting the same doctor – Dr. Jewel Gamadia, a Mumbai based doctor. The doctor uploaded a few pics in his Instagram profile, thanking them for their visit and sharing priceless knowledge with them.

It’s pretty heartening to see the couple weathering every storm, remaining calm during rough times and setting the right example for anyone who wishes to be in a relationship. When Kohli faltered during the 2015 World Cup semi-final against Australia, fans left no stone unturned in criticising Anushka Sharma and her presence at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Later on, Kohli stood by her and slammed the trolls on social media, which was heartening to say the least. The recent advertisement of Manyavar, featuring Anushka and Kohli has gained in popularity ever since it has been televised.

From how things have panned out recently, it seems to be a matter of time before the couple eventually pledge one’s troth. Meanwhile, from the cricketing aspect, Virat Kohli and his Indian team will be looking to stage a comeback in the second One Day International to avoid a series defeat.
