Former Pakistan all-rounder, Shahid Afridi credited the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and its president Najam Sethi for successfully organizing the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final in the country. The PCB officials have been trying very hard to develop the required confidence for restoring International cricket in the country. It’s been eight years since the horrific militant attack against the Sri Lankan team.

With the PCB successfully hosting the finale of PSL 2016, the locals got to see at least a few foreign starts play in their backyard. Afridi always tried his level best to make things better for the Pakistani fans. He also reached out to the Indian cricketers during the World XI tour of Pakistan.

Speaking at the press meet he also thanked all the participants for taking part in the event. The charity T10 match featured many popular names of Pakistan cricket. While Afridi captained one side, the legendary Misbah-ul-Haq led the other side.
