A topsy turvy journey for the Royals
As far as the tournament is concerned, the Royals, captained by Ajinkya Rahane, are at the second last position of the points table with three losses from four matches. They started their campaign with a defeat against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in which the infamous Mankading incident took place.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) got the better of them in the second match. The Royals slumped to a loss against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) following which Rahane’s men won the first match of this season against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Jaipur itself. The Royals will next play the Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday.
