Cricket has come a long way since its inception. From being played between two countries England and Australia to now being played between several nations, the game has developed to its core. The developments brought in several changes to the rules of the sport over the due course. The game is played across three major formats- that being the Tests, One Day Internationals, and T20 Internationals.

All three formats require the players to adjust to different conditions and situations. While the ODIs and T20Is need the players to deal with the white ball, the Test format brings out the beauty of the game. The traditional, and the longest format of the game puts the players under a testing period. Any player who can ace the game of Test cricket can get his hands on the limited-over format easily is the general conception.

Batsmen have struggled to adapt their approaches and skillsets for a changing format, and have lost their flair even in formats where they previously excelled. Despite the difficulties, a few batters throughout the world have been able to dominate and remain at the peak of their game across all forms of the game.

Let us have a look at the top 10 current batters who have aced their skills on the pitch across all formats:

10. Devon Conway

Having made his international debut late in the year 2020, Conway has not played a lot of cricket for New Zealand, but he has been successful in becoming a permanent member of the squad, thanks to his hard-hitting skills across formats.

Devon Conway has represented New Zealand in only 30 games across all formats but never failed to surprise with the bat. Of the total international matches played so far, Conway is more often seen in the T20I squad. In 20 T20I matches, he has smacked 602 runs at an average of 50.16.

His average in the ODIs is high because he has played only three games. But his consistency across all three games helped him score 225 runs at an average of 75. His best performance came in the Test format as he quickly adapted to the conditions on his debut, and scored a double century in his very first match. He marked his arrival in style and now averages 63.91 in just seven Test games.
