Rashid currently occupies the fifth spot in the ICC Men’s T20I Rankings for Bowlers and has also held the top spot on a few occasions.

Lately, the leggie has opened up on the dream hat-trick that he would like to take with the ball in hand which features three of the best batters in the modern era. When asked about his dream hat-trick, Rashid Khan instantly said “Virat (Kohli), Babar Azam, Kane Williamson,” while speaking on YouTube channel12th Khiladi.

Williamson happens to be an interesting choice as Khan has played with him during his IPL stint with the Sunrisers Hyderabad from 2017 to 2021. As far as their on-field faceoffs are concerned, the Afghan spinner has dismissed the Kiwi batter only once with the latter scoring 30 runs off 29 deliveries.

As far as Rashid’s battle with Virat Kohli is concerned, he has only been able to dismiss the former skipper once with Kohli managing 21 runs from 24 balls. Meanwhile, Rashid Khan has been successful against Babar Azam having gotten the better of him on five occasions. Nonetheless, the Pakistan skipper has a strike rate of 122.91 against the lethal spinner.

After being released by SRH, Rashid Khan was roped in by the new entrants Gujarat Titans for a staggering INR 15 crore for IPL 2022. He has managed to impress so far having registered eight wickets from seven matches averaging 22.75 and an economy rate of 6.50. Rashid had also made his bat do the talking with a match-winning 21-ball 40 against the defending champions CSK last week.
