The IPL season is here and most of the Indian cricketers are sweating it out for their franchises. While a majority of the members of the Indian team setup are busy with the IPL, one man seems to be really enjoying. Indian Cricket Team’s coach Ravi Shastri is making the most of the rare break that he has got. Mr Shastri flew to Bahrain to enjoy his time off the field.

With the hectic schedules, the cricketers and support staff hardly get any time off the field. Head coach Ravi Shastri is enjoying his time watching the Bahrain GP. Known to be a sports lover, Shastri is having a ball in Bahrain as he enjoys the thrill of Formula One. He took it to Twitter to share the news.

No commentary stint for Ravi Shastri this IPL

Ravi Shastri was appointed the Indian Head Coach last year. He took the position after Anil Kumble resigned from the post after a split with the skipper Virat Kohli. Shastri had worked as the ‘Director of the Team’ earlier before Anil Kumble took over. He was the players’ favourite and has tasted some great success with the team. Except for losing the Test series against the Proteas, Shastri didn’t have any major loses under his helm.

Also, Shastri will not don the commentary hat during the IPL this year. As per as the regulations set by Committee of Administrators (COA), Ravi would be involved in the ‘Conflict of Interests’ case in case he commentates for the IPL. Hence, the Indian coach has got almost 50 days off before his next stint with the team. The Indian team will play Afghanistan in a one-off Test match before they fly to England for a long tour.

Taking to Twitter, Shastri posted some nice photos along with this tweet. His tweet read, “Thrilling, exhilarating and the noise deafening to the ear. #Bahrain. Serious stuff this evening #BahrainGP.”
