The duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal has sure taken the forefront in the spin department of the India team in limited-overs but Ravindra Jadeja remains an asset. With the warm-up fixtures done and dusted, now the next step for the Men in Blue is their tournament opener against South Africa. Ahead of the campaign, Jadeja shared a few secrets of his teammates.

While India didn’t have a great time in the warm-up game against New Zealand, one positive was Ravindra Jadeja coming out in the middle as number 8 and producing a valiant 50-ball 54 from a point where India weren’t likely to cross a total of 100. He also produced decent bowling figures of 7-0-21-1 while defending a total of 179. After losing to New Zealand, India made a come back against Bangladesh in the 2nd warm-up game as they defeated the Tigers by 95 runs.

Coming back to the chat session the Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja had with the ICC one day ahead of the inaugural match of the tournament. In his own vibrant way, the 30-year-old spilled the beans on his dressing room buddies. Previously the same questions were asked to the vice-captain Rohit Sharma who also gave some fun answers.

Find out the obsessions and habits of the Indian team

While Jaddu named Shikhar Dhawan as the biggest selfie lover,  he picked the wicketkeeper-batsman MS Dhoni as the worst dancer in the Indian brigade. We have all seen how Virat Kohli was up about his singing during his ‘Sangeet’ with Anushka Sharma, so no wonder Jaddu picked him as the one who would grab the microphone at a Karaoke.

Here are the rest of the answers:

Fan of romantic comedies- Jasprit Bumrah.

Googles himself the most- Yuzvendra Chahal

Grumpiest in the morning- Yuzvendra Chahal

A coffee snob and often late to the bus – Rohit Sharma

Always is in the gym- Virat Kohli

The best off-field friendships- Rohit and Dhawan, the spin duo of Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav, pace front liners Bumrah and Mohammed Shami, and the best of them all MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli.

O May 30 the much-anticipated event kicks off with the game between hosts England and South Africa. The Men In Blue are considered to be one of the favourites to lift the World Cup title as well.
