The hero of Indian Test cricket Cheteshwar Puajara has turned 33 today, and wishes are pouring in from all the corners of the cricket world. It is a well-known fact how Pujara has turned himself into a saviour when it comes to the longest format of the game. In India’s latest historic win against Australia, Pujara stepped in to play a vital role for India time and again.

In fact, on the fifth day of the final Test in Brisbane, how the adamant batter faced the fiery spells of Australian bowlers was lauded by several big names in the cricket world. Many of Pujara’s teammates started pouring wishes on his way and wished him good luck for the times ahead. Indian skipper Virat Kohli led the line of wishers and wished Pujara more hours on the crease.

“Happy birthday pujji @cheteshwar1. Wish you good health, happiness, and more hours at the crease. Have a great year ahead,” Kohli tweeted.

When India clinched the Border Gavaskar trophy last time on the soil of Kangaroos, Pujara gave some hard times to their bowlers and emerged as the highest run-getter of the series. He has proved his worth over and over again in the purest format, and the team would be expecting him to replicate his heroics in the coming Test series against England.

Ace spinner Ravi Ashwin posted a video on his birthday, and his small daughter can be seen extending her cute wishes to the great batsman.

“Many more happy returns of the day Rock of Gibraltar @cheteshwar1. Can’t thank you enough for being my bunny though,” Ashwin tweeted.

Yuvraj Singh also wished the ‘brave fighter’ of India and wished him lots of luck for the England series. Pujara will be next seen in India’s Test series against England that would get staged in Chennai in the month of February.
