Virat Kohli is celebrating his 31st birthday on Tuesday as the wishes are flowing in for the Indian captain on social media. Kohli also wrote a wonderful letter to his 15-year-old self to start the day on an exciting note. Even as the wishes flooded in for him, India’s limited-overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma also wished his skipper on Twitter which must have relieved a lot of Indian fans now.
Soon after India’s unceremonious exit from the World Cup 2019, the rumours started doing the rounds that there is an alleged rift between Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Moreover, the latter unfollowing Anushka Sharma and Kohli on Instagram only add fuel to the fire. But the birthday boy quashed away all the rumours before leaving to the West Indies even as the news kept coming about the rift.
Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma has wished Virat Kohli on the latter’s 31st birthday which should clear out any doubts about their rift as well. India’s stand-in skipper who is currently leading the team in the T20I series against Bangladesh wished Kohli and hoped that he has a wonderful year ahead. “Happy birthday @imVkohli here’s wishing you a great year. God bless,” the tweet read.

Virat Kohli enjoying the break
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is currently on a break from international cricket. He has skipped the ongoing Bangladesh T20I series and will be back on the field for the upcoming two-match Test series against the same team. He has gone on a vacation with his wife and the Bollywood star Anushka Sharma.
As far as Rohit Sharma is concerned, he would like to shrug off a poor outing with the bat against the visitors in Delhi T20I. India are currently lagging by 0-1 in the T20I series and will have to win the next game in Rajkot to stay alive in the series. The loss in the previous match was also their first one to Bangladesh in the format even as the tourists would be keen to extend the winning run.
