Though the post poked fun at Shreyas Gopal, it didn’t forget to mention the honourable Nadal. He is regarded as one of the most phenomenal Tennis players in the world and won the French Open championship title for the record 13th time. After winning this title, he has equalled the legendary Roger Federer in the record of most major tennis championships won by a male player in the singles category.
Both the champions now have 20 Grand Slams under their belt. Nadal has always been known as the King of red clay, and he continued his dominance this time too, by claiming the unprecedented 13th title at Roland Garros. Nadal slammed world no 1 Novak Djokovic in three sets, 6-0, 6-2 and 7-5, to claim the title on 12th October.
