SA vs IND: Anushka Sharma cheers husband Virat Kohli on Instagram

Virat Kohli is the modern-day run chase master. The Indian skipper is in the best form of his life ever since 2016, notching up important runs at important intervals as well. He has been a class act each time with the bat and is expected to make a difference each time he goes out to bat. Virat set his eyes on every possible record and is a carnage to break ’em all. In the first ODI against South Africa, Virat yet again proved why he is regarded as the best batsman of this generation.

He played some beautiful, eye-catching shots in his innings and had impressed one and all. A maiden century on South African soil by the Indian skipper Virat Kohli and an ably supported fifty-plus knock from Ajinkya Rahane propelled India to a stunning six-wicket victory against the Proteas side.

‘What a guy’: Anushka Sharma

Virat Kohli recently tied the knot with his lady love Anushka Sharma who was also in the Rainbow Nation early on in the series. However, she had to leave South Africa due to her work commitments. But it seems like Anushka is very keenly following up India’s progress on the tour.

Kohli achieved his 33rd ODI ton, 20th whilst chasing and 11th as a skipper celebrated his yet another milestone with ample animated gestures at the crowd, at the dressing room, fist pumping in happiness. The cricketing fraternity came up with some great appreciation for this knock. India also decoded the Durban jinx with this win and won their first ever match at this venue.

Amongst all these wishes, what came as a special one was from his wife Anushka Sharma. Moments after Kohli strolled past the 100-run mark, Anushka Sharma took to Instagram to share an Insta story on the moment when Kohli had raised his bat to soak in all the appreciation. Further, one of it had a big large caption, “What a guy”. Also, this couple is often found exchanging some sweet messages on social media. Anushka definitely looked flattered after this knock by King Kohli.
