Appreciations from the Prime Minister
Tendulkar ended his tenure as the Minister of Parliament (MP) of the Rajya Sabha. However, prior to the completion of his stint, he donated his entire salary and his allowances as an MP to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. Following his actions, he has been showered with accolades by the Indian Prime Minister in an acknowledgement letter.

He also has adopted a couple of villages- Puttam Raju Kandriga in Andhra Pradesh and Donja in Maharashtra- under the Sansad Gram Adarsh Gram Yojana Scheme. Tendulkar was also the brand ambassador of the recently concluded inaugural season of the Mumbai T20 League which concluded earlier in March.
