Sanju Samson enters wedlock with longtime girlfriend Charu

Both have been seeing each other for the last five years.

Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson has had a topsy-turvy career, to say the least, and hasn’t played international cricket after making his debut in a T20I against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club way back on July 19, 2015. However, parking aside his indifferent cricketing career, the 24-year-old pugnacious potential has had a joyful time of late from his personal front.

The Trivandrum-born cricketer has entered the wedlock with his longtime girlfriend on Saturday, December 22. Back in September, Samson made an announcement about their relationship with a picture of theirs on Instagram. He mentioned that both have been seeing each other ever since August 22, 2013. Samson was, undoubtedly, over the moon, at that point in time.

The talented cricketer also thanked their respective parents for supporting their relationship from the beginning. Later it was confirmed that the duo would pledge ones troth in December. Sanju is currently playing the 2018-19 edition of the Ranji Trophy for Kerala and since his team isn’t playing any match during this while, this was the only time they could have married.

Sanju’s career in a brief

Samson has played 50 first-class matches in which he has notched 2800 runs at an average of 36.84 to go with nine centuries and as many half-centuries. Moreover, he also has honed his skills in 78 List A and 130 T20 matches where he has racked up 1779 and 3011 runs respectively. Samson, in this season’s Ranji, has racked up 198 runs in six matches and has been a tad out of form of late.

Furthermore, he has had the privilege of plying his trade in the prestigious Indian Premier League (IPL). He made his IPL debut in 2013, representing Rajasthan Royals (RR) and has thus far played 81 matches in which he has been able to score 1867 runs at a pretty decent average of 26.67 with a century. He has been retained by the Royals and he would be playing for them even the next season of the T20 extravaganza.
