The Coronavirus pandemic had made the human life absolutely miserable. Most of the countries are suffering from the deadly virus which has led to the people being stuck at home. The lockdown has been the only option for the governments of respective countries and even the citizens going out to buy essentials have been advised to maintain social distancing.

Situation is similar in Pakistan as the whole country is under the lockdown at the moment. However, the former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Akhtar, on Saturday, posted a video while cycling on empty roads in Islamabad and praising his beautiful city.

Rather he was out for exercise in the night and was delighted to experience clear air. The pollution levels have certainly decreased across the world due to the lockdown and Shoaib seemed to be enjoying his cycle ride. “Cycling in my beautiful city. Lovely weather. Empty roads. Best work out. #islamabad #pakistan,” he captioned the video with this message.

Here’s the video:

However, the fans didn’t seem to be so impressed with Shoaib Akhtar. They slammed him left, right and centre for not following lockdown rules which have been imposed during this Coronavirus outbreak. While some of them pointed out that he is not wearing the mask, few asked him not to come out of his house as many would follow him and might come out to do cycling.

Shoaib Akhtar’s opinions trending on social media

Meanwhile, Shoaib Akhtar has been in the news during this period for his comments in his Youtube video. Recently, he had proposed a charity series in Dubai between the arch-rivals India and Pakistan despite the Coronavirus scare. However, he didn’t get much support from the former cricketers of both the countries.

The likes of Kapil Dev and Zaheer Abbas felt that the series won’t go ahead. The former also added that there is no point in risking the players’ lives during the pandemic and also took a dig stating that India has enough money at the moment. Meanwhile, Shahid Afridi supported Shoaib for his suggestion but went on to slam the India saying that Modi Government won’t let the matches happen.
