The escalating situation of Coronavirus has compelled the world to come to a halt as people have been forced to stay in self-isolation to battle the pandemic. Major sporting events including IPL, Olympics, English Premier League and La Liga have suffered a major blow because of the pandemic.

And joining the bandwagon was none other than Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor. As soon as he initiated the Question & Answer session on Twitter, Shahid Kapoor was bombarded with a plethora of questions on the micro-blogging website. And one question amongst them was about MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli.

A fan asked Shahid Kapoor to choose between former Indian skipper MS Dhoni and current captain MS Dhoni. Replying to the same, Shahid had a hilarious answer under his sleeve as he replied with– “Mummy or papa?”

Virat Kohli struggled to dazzle on New Zealand soil

Both Dhoni and Kohli have established themselves as legends of the sport over the years. There is no doubt over the fact that they’ve etched their name in the history of Indian cricket.

After steering India to the inaugural T20 World Cup, Dhoni led the Men in Blue in all three formats for seven years before quitting Test cricket in 2014. Kohli took over as full-time Test captain in January 2015 and a couple of years later, he took over as skipper across formats.

While both the cricketers’ on-field nature is quite contrasting, Dhoni and Kohli have tasted a fair share of success in their captaincy stint with Team India. While MS Dhoni is known for his composed attitude on the field, Kohli has been associated with his aggressive approach.

In October 2019, Kohli broke Dhoni’s record after defeating South Africa by an innings and 137 runs in second Test Pune. The 31-year-old registered 30th Test win in 50 matches as the skipper, outclassing Dhoni’s record of 26 wins in 50 Tests. However, Kohli went through a lean patch in the recently-concluded New Zealand series, where India suffered a thumping whitewash both in ODIs and Tests.
