Shane Watson was in India to represent the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018. He had a better than a great season, the all-rounder did everything the team asked from him. In the initial part of the tournament, Watson opened the batting and bowled his four overs as well. Moving forward it was rest in odd games and just batting.

However, in the most important match of the tournament, he played the best of knocks and single-handedly took CSK over the line in the chase. His unbeaten hundred was an exhibition of some amazing shots that was built on a lot of patience. His Chennai team-mate, Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh hosts a new show ‘Bhajji Blast with CSK’ and he recently hosted Watto there.

The Australian has been visiting India every year for the IPL since the inception in 2008 and having spent a couple of months here for the last decade he has picked some Hindi. Bhajji made him speak the words he knew and they were hilarious. Watson said ‘susu lagi hai’ and ‘tu pagal hai’.

Harbhajan also told him that he learnt all his sledging from the Australians and Watson was all amused, he responded by saying ‘I’m not so sure about that. I’ve heard about you got pretty hot as well.’

The 36-year-old has talents outside of cricket as well and on Bhajji’s request he played the guitar and sung a famous song ‘Purple Rain’ by American music great Prince. As Watson was getting pretty comfortable on the guitar, the host used it to his benefit and made him strum the chords on a classic Hindi song. Bhajji sung a popular Kishore Kumar song ‘Inteha Ho Gayi Intezaar Ki’.
