The game of cricket is treated like a religion in India. People in the country are madly in love with the sport which is evident from the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) matches where the stadiums are jam-packed for all the matches. Among the thousands present in the crowd, one can notice some crazy fans dressed in some unusual costumes or cheering their favourite star with their body painted and the cricketer’s name on it.

In the ongoing IPL, we have already seen fans eloping the securities at the venues to touch the Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni’s feet. The passionate fans try different ways to meet their favourite star. However, Sunrisers Hyderabad opener Shikhar Dhawan’s fan didn’t try to do anything of that sort. He copied Dhawan’s hairstyle and made sure his kid had a similar hairdo as Dhawan’s son Zoravar.

Dhawan meets his most passionate fan

Dhawan along with his wife Ayesha Mukherjee met Shankar in Hyderabad. The duo posed for a picture with Shakar’s family. The 32-year-old batsman took to Instagram to share the picture where he thanked Shankar for supporting him and putting a lot of efforts so that he can meet him. Dhawan revealed that this was Shankar and his family’s first-ever flight journey and they decided to meet him early in the morning at the hotel. Dhawan also mentioned that he was humbled by Shankar’s gesture.

He wrote- @shankardhawan it was wonderful to meet you and your family today.
Shankar, “my biggest fan” came all the way from Bangalore with his family to meet me. Apparently it was his first flight journey with his family and they came directly to our hotel from the airport early in the morning. He was sporting my style and his son, Zoravar’s style. It is so heartwarming and I truly feel humbled when my fans go to such lengths. Thank you Shankar and all my fans for your support. Love you all #lovemyfans#mybiggeststrength
