The renowned commentator and former Pakistan cricketer Ramiz Raza surprised his fans by unearthing his hidden vocal prowess. Not just that, he added a charm by roping in the famous Sri Lankan singer, Yohani. Notably, the former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief was terminated rather unceremoniously in 2022. Thereafter, he got back to what he does best, which is showing his commentary genius inside the comm box. Currently, Raza is on a Sri Lanka tour, where, he has been performing his commentary duties in the 2023 edition of the Lanka Premier League.
Meanwhile, in his leisure time away from the game of cricket, Raza collaborated with the sensational singer. It is worth mentioning that the Lankan singer got her big break through the hit song, Manike Mage Hithe. The impact was so phenomenal that first, she broke the internet, especially the YouTube platform. Thereafter, Yohani started getting offers from Bollywood. As a result, she did a remake of the hit song in the Hindi language as well.

Hence, it comes as no surprise that Raza turned out to be her fan and chose her song to sing with none other than the original singer herself. Seemingly, Yohani seemed quite surprised with the former cricketers' attempt at singing her song. Furthermore, Raza went a notch up and also sang a legendary song of the singing maestro, Kishore Kumar.
Raza served as PCB chief for over a year term before Najam Sethi took over
Meanwhile, speaking about Ramiz Raza's experience on the administrative side, the former PCB chairman took charge as the 36th top brass of Pakistan cricket. The former Pakistan batter succeeded Ehsan Mani after the latter resigned from the apex post, back in September 2021. He remained in power for one year and three months being only the fourth Pakistan cricketer to do so. Before him, former cricketers like Javed Burki, Abdul Hafeez Kardar and Ijaz Butt have chaired the board.
After Raza was terminated by the PCB, the experienced administrator, Najam Sethi, became the interim boss of the PCB. After successfully completing his tenure, he decided to step out of the elections to decide the new chief of Pakistan chief in June. As a result, the front-runner Zaka Ashraf took charge from Sethi and has been trying to bring a new set-up to groom cricket in the country.
