Rajasthan Royals (RR) took to their social media handle to share a rather hilarious clip involving Joe Root and spin sensation Yuzvendra Chahal. The incident occurred during franchise's recent team travel after their fixture against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), in which the former comprehensively won by nine wickets at the Eden Gardens on May 11.

Chahal, who is known for his on and off field antics, took the internet by storm with yet another hilarious clip making rounds on social media. Since the start of the Royals’ campaign, both Chahal and Root have been relishing a fun time together as seen earlier wherein the two were hilariously dancing in the franchise’s welcome dinner.

In another rib-tickling video shared by the franchise, the spinner can be seen having a fun ride on Root’s suitcase in the airport. Chahal, who is all smiles while taking the ride, can be heard saying “I’m coming home”.

Yuzvendra Chahal shatters IPL record

The 32-year-old leggie eclipsed former CSK pacer Dwayne Bravo to become the highest wicket-taker in the history of the top-tier league. The record feat came against KKR at the iconic Eden Gardens as Chahal claimed impressive bowling figures of 4/25 in his four overs which took his overall tally to 187 wickets.

In addition to this, Chahal is also in contention for the IPL Purple Cap as he stands second on the list with 21 wickets in 12 matches at an average economy of 7.91, lacing it with three four-wicket hauls. Meanwhile, Sanju Samson and Co. are still in the race for a spot in the playoffs of the competition.

Placed fifth in the IPL Points Table with 12 points in 12 outings, Rajasthan will need to win their remaining two fixtures to strengthen their case for top four. The side locks horns with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Sunday, May 14 and will be gunning to keep their momentum intact.
