Heinrich Klaasen executed a smart catch while wicketkeeping to dismiss Sai Sudharsan during the ongoing game between Gujarat Titans and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Friday, May 2. Sudharsan (48 off 23) fell short of his half-century by a couple of runs.
It was a flat googly bowled by Zeeshan Ansari outside the off-stump. Sudharsan spotted the variation early and aimed to dab it fine on the off side. However, the southpaw seemed to be a little late on the shot. Klaasen pounced on the opportunity to provide SRH with their first wicket of the game.
Sudharsan's brisk innings comprised a total of nine fours. He put on a total of 82 runs in the powerplay alongside skipper, Shubman Gill. Gill was run-out on the final delivery of the 13th over for a 38-ball 76-run knock.

Earlier in the evening, GT were asked to bat first after Pat Cummins won the toss and elected to field. While SRH went ahead with an unchanged XI, GT made one change to their squad by replacing Karim Janat with Gerald Coetzee.

The final over of the innings saw Aniket Verma hold onto a stunning catch to get rid of Rahul Tewatia. Tewatia sliced the length delivery wide of off stump to the deep. Aniket ran towards the ball to dive full length and complete an athletic effort.
