Mitchell Marsh's six dented the display car in Match 61 of IPL 2025 between Lucknow Super Giants and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Ekana Stadium. Marsh gave an aggressive start to the team alongside Aiden Markram as they raced to 69 for no loss at the six-over mark.

The incident occurred on the first ball of the sixth over when Eshan Malinga delivered a back-of-a-length ball, which Marsh hammered over deep backward square leg for six. The ball didn’t just clear the ropes but smashed right into the display car just behind the advertising hoardings, making a dent on the vehicle.

Two overs later, Marsh brought up his half-century, his fifth of the season, off just 28 deliveries. Meanwhile, the opening pair maintained a run rate of over 11 per over as both batters ran through the SRH’s attack and took them on from the beginning. Notably, Marsh became Harsh Dubey's maiden IPL wicket as he was sent packing after a well-made 65.

Meanwhile, with SRH already eliminated from playoff contention, the home side's qualification hopes remain determined not just on winning the ongoing match but also on the result of Mumbai Indians' fixtures. If Mumbai Indians lose both of their remaining games and Punjab Kings topple Delhi Capitals, then the path of LSG will become open. However, they are in a must-win territory and any points dropped at this stage will end their campaign.

Gujarat Titans (GT), Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have made way into the playoffs, with only spot remaining vacant. Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals are the other two teams fighting for that berth alongside LSG.
