The Indian Premier League (IPL) has always been known for its thrilling matches and also surprising moments. A casual picture of Punjab Kings (PBKS) co-owner Preity Zinta standing alongside Delhi Capitals (DC) stand-in skipper Faf du Plessis after their recent clash went viral on social media which captured the attention of fans.

The fans suggested that the duo should share screen space in a Bollywood movie. A fan even urged filmmakers not to miss the opportunity to cast them together. In an interesting moment, Faf du Plessis responded to the tweet. "Make it happen," he wrote.

Speaking of yesterday's clash, DC ended their IPL 2025 campaign on a high note with a six-wicket victory over PBKS at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Despite the loss, PBKS displayed brilliant batting performance and posted a formidable total of 206 in the first innings. The PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer scored a solid 53 off 34 balls and was supported by Marcus Stoinis (44 off 16), Josh Inglis (32 off 12). For DC, Mustafizur Rahman picked up three crucial wickets in his four-over spell.

During the chase, Sameer Rizvi led the innings with a blistering 58* off 25 balls. He was well-supported by Karun Nair, who contributed 44 off 27 deliveries which helped DC secure a convincing win.

With this victory, DC finished fifth on the IPL 2025 points table. PBKS remained second with 17 points and will look to bounce back in their final league match against Mumbai Indians (MI) on May 26. They will aim to secure a stronger position heading into the playoffs.
