Gujarat Titans (GT) flamboyant opener Shubman Gill grabbed the spotlight with his unique entry at the Spiderman Hindi trailer launch. For the uninitiated, Gill lent his voice to Indian Spiderman- 'Pavitr Prabhakar' for the Hollywood film titled ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ in the Hindi and Punjabi versions.
With the film promotions at full swing, Gill struck the iconic Spiderman pose on top of a car, sporting a green shirt with shades. Furthermore, he was seen clicking pictures for the paparazzi before heading to the promotional event.
“I have grown up watching Spider-Man, and he is one of the most relatable superheroes. Getting to be the voice of our Indian Spider-Man, Pavitr Prabhakar, in the Hindi and Punjabi languages was such a remarkable experience for me. Already, I feel superhuman. I am eagerly anticipating the release of this movie,” told Gill in a recent interview as quoted by News 18.

Presently, Gill is plying his trade for the defending champions Gujarat Titans in the ongoing IPL 2023. The swashbuckling right-hander is relishing a stupendous campaign as he has collected 576 runs in 13 appearances, with four half-centuries and one ton and is in the running for the IPL Orange Cap.
Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya and Co. comfortably sit atop the IPL Points Table with 18 points in 13 matches. With this, the side became the first team to secure a Qualifier 1 berth in the IPL playoffs. It remains to be seen if the defending champions can push all the way through and add a second title on the trot in their cabinet.
