Haris Rauf has been Pakistan's most consistent pacer in the last couple of months with his ability to bowl tight spells at the death and also deceive the batters with his well-disguised yorkers. However, the star speedster ended up missing an easy run out during the ICC T20 World Cup warm-up fixture against England at the Gabba.

The Men in Green could have easily got the key wicket of Liam Livingstone who was already troubling them with his explosive batting, but Rauf just could not make a proper judgement when it came to running the power-hitter out when it mattered and made a mess of it.

The incident happened in the ninth over of England's chase. On the penultimate delivery of the over bowled by Shadab, Livingstone pushed the ball delivered at off stump line towards covers and started running instantly.

However, non-striker Harry Brook seemed uninterested and half-heartedly took off from his crease. There was a lot of confusion between the two batters as they stopped midway before Livingstone yelled at the top of his voice and said 'No'. However, Brook had almost reached the other end by then and he had no choice other than running to the danger end.

Rauf collected the ball and all he had to do was pass it to Shadab who was stationed at the bowlers' end. Instead, he went for glory and attempted a direct hit. The move did not work as the ball went well over the stumps and Shadab was disappointed.

While the Pakistanis have to do a lot of work in their fielding department, they can be satisfied for now by the fact that they managed to post a respectable total of 160/8 on the board in the absence of skipper Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan who have been rested.
