T20 World Cup 2022: Virat Kohli gears up for semi-final against England with power-packed net session

One of India’s top batters, Virat Kohli will have a big role to play in the upcoming semi-final clash against England in the T20 World Cup 2022. The right-hander has scored the most runs in the tournament so far with 246 runs in five innings and has been in impeccable form since the start of Asia Cup 2022. 

The 34-year-old played an unforgettable knock against Pakistan in the Super 12 to take the side home from an improbable situation. Since then, he has been dominating the oppositions with his stroke-play and has been going from strength to strength. Kohli has been playing his typical innings by taking time initially with a lot of singles before getting aggressive towards the end of the innings.

Ahead of the high-intensity knockout fixture, Kohli shared a video compilation of his shot making from nets on Twitter. The practice session included many straight shots with remarkable timing and he certainly looked in great touch.

Meanwhile, Kohli was recently announced the ICC player of the month for November after his three half-centuries in the first four innings in the tournament. Kohli has had great impact at the top of the order and he helped India to finish first in the points table of Group 2. Meanwhile, India will take on England on Thursday (November 10) at the Adelaide Oval in second semi-final.
