Veteran First Class batter, Hanuma Vihari, has repeated his first innings heroics as the 29-year-old once again batted with his fractured arm in the match against Madhya Pradesh in the ongoing Ranji Trophy. On Wednesday, the Andhra Pradesh skipper walked out to bat despite being injured and even scored 27 off 57 deliveries in the first innings. He was batting left-handed and was using only one hand to keep the runs coming.
In the second innings, Vihari walked out to bat with a plastered arm in order to rescue his team from a horrible batting collapse. Batting at number 11, Vihari scored 15 off 16 deliveries to help Andhra put 93 on the board in the second innings. He was also the third-leading scorer for Andhra Pradesh in the innings as the cricketer was seen hitting boundaries by using only one hand. He smashed three one-handed boundaries and seeing that, the fans on Twitter were extremely delighted and lauded the cricketer for his continuous bravery.

Now, in order to win the match and qualify for the semi-finals of the competition, Aditya Shrivastava-led side needs 187 more runs on the fourth day of the match. Openers Yash Dubey and Himanshu Mantri gave Madhya Pradesh the perfect start as the duo are currently batting on 24 and 31 runs respectively.
The Andhra Pradesh bowlers looked pale so far with the ball but they will back themselves to win the game on the penultimate day of the match. Prithvi Raj was sensational with the ball in the first innings and the team will once again depend a lot on his brilliance. The 24-year-old picked up a five-for while KV Sasikanth picked up three wickets to bundle out Madhya Pradesh for 228 runs in the first innings. Now, these two cricketers will once again be key for Andhra’s comeback in the second innings.
